If you follow me on instagram, you might know by now that I love to explore and travel. I’m always searching for new things to do and places to go. I’ve lived in Seattle for a little over a year now and I’ve done a lot of exploring since I’ve been here, although there’s still so much more I need to see. In honor of my recent 1 year anniversary in the Emerald city, I’ve decided to make a list of my top 10 most instagram worthy places in Seattle.
Disclaimer: there are so many instagram worthy spots in Seattle it was hard to keep it to just 10, so don’t hate me if I missed your favorite spot. If you guys have any other recommendations or places you think should be on the list let me know in the comments below! Enjoy.
(all photos are my own)
1. Pike Place Market
Probably the most popular place in Seattle, so it’s an obvious one for the list. Pike Place offers great shops, seafood, local artisan goods, and tons of beautiful, local flowers!
2. Kerry Park
Very popular spot located in Queen Anne that offers a beautiful view of downtown Seattle and Mt. Rainier (when it’s not gloomy). The best time to check out this spot in sunset, but be prepared for the crowd of photographers trying to get the perfect Seattle photo.
3. The London Plane
Restaurant, flower shop, bakery, gift shop – all in one. The interior of this place is an Instagrammer’s dream.
4. Hamilton Viewpoint Park
This spot located in West Seattle offers a panoramic view of the Seattle Skyline, Puget Sound and Cascade Mountains.
5. Chihuly Garden & Glass Museum
Located in the Seattle Center, next to the Space Needle, this exhibit showcases beautiful studio glass by Dale Chihuly.
Very popular brunch spot located in Capitol Hill. The food is great, the people are friendly, and the interior is on point.
7. Seattle Public Library
Located in downtown Seattle, this 11-story glass library offers a unique architectural look with lots of natural lighting.
8. Sitka & Spruce
One of my favorite new discoveries in Seattle. The interior is enticing with lots of natural light from the factory windows and the food is just as amazing.
9. Volunteer Park Conservatory
This beautiful conservatory located in Capitol Hill has 5 glass houses. My favorite room is the cacti and succulent room, where the backdrop and lighting is perfect.
10. Gas Works
This former gas-light-plant turned public park located in Wallingford includes a kite-flying hill with breathtaking views of Lake Union and the Seattle skyline.
