Wednesday marked the first official day of Autumn, and we could not be more excited! I’m not going to lie… Summer is my favorite season. If you knew me personally, you would know that 95% of my closet consists of crop tops and flowy skirts, and you would definitely know that I only have two pairs of pants on reserve for emergency situations (i.e. Chicago blizzards ;)). So for me, fall fashion means putting on a pair of tights and adding a few essential pieces to transition my wardrobe into the new season.
Tuyet and I spent the first day of autumn strolling through downtown Seattle, and we stopped by the EMP museum, which, by the way, is a must-see for any architecture junkie! I wore a white high-neck embroidered top along with a silver mini skirt. I paired it off with a crimson jacket, black stockings, and brown suede boots, which complete the fall-ready look.
I’m looking forward to my first autumn in Seattle, especially since I’m accustomed to freezing (sometimes snowy) falls in Chicago. The trees are already turning red and yellow, and it looks so beautiful against the gloomy Washington skies and mountains. I truly feel that the fall season is upon us and cannot wait for all of that it has in store for us! 🙂
