Hello, 2017! I know I’ve been a little MIA lately because of the holidays and everything but I’m back on my blog now and am excited for new things to come this year. =) I already have so much planned for the first half of the year and of course that includes more travel! I’m going to London for a friend’s birthday in a couple of weeks and am super excited because it’ll be my first time there. If you’ve been there before and have any suggestions of places to see, eat, things to do when I’m there, let me know! I’m also looking for a place to go for my birthday this year in June.. I know it’s kind of far away but I like to plan ahead, so any suggestions would be great!
Speaking of the new year, I hardly ever make any resolutions because I’m terrible at them and always forget, but this year I’ve decided to do them. One – I want to read more. I seriously don’t think I read a single book last year (did I? not that I remember anyway..). I know that sounds terrible, but I’m hoping to get back into reading this year. Two – I need to stop complaining and be more grateful about things. I complain about everything, especially work. This needs to stop. Three – I’m hoping to volunteer more this year. I always tell myself that I don’t have time to volunteer but the truth is I’m just lazy. I only work 3 days a week, so I actually have a lot of time and I think it’s time to put it to good use.
On a different note, I’ve been obsessing with bucket bags lately and I absolutely love this one by Hieleven. It comes in many colors, and of course I got the blush pink, although I really love the taupe and brown one, too. They have other styles as well and I love them all because they’re very classic and minimal. I’ve been wearing mine non-stop and will be taking it with me on my London trip in a couple weeks.
I’m so excited for the fresh start of the new year, and all of the adventures 2017 has in store for me! Hopefully I don’t have too much trouble committing to all of my resolutions, haha! Let me know if you guys have any New Year’s resolutions as well, or if you guys have any fun travel plans this year! Can’t wait to hear all about them!
